Unchanging Truth in an Age of Deception
Our theme this year is focused on the doctrine of discernment — a missing piece in Evangelicalism. Christians from all across the globe are far too often driven and tossed about by opposing ideologies and competing philosophies that have left the believing community “carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes” (Ephesians 4:13). Our desire is to exalt His infallible word, to build up the Church universal, and rally together to stand for God's unchanging truth in an age of deception.
For The Valley Bible Conference exists to equip and encourage Christians from Central California and beyond.
As the prophet Amos said, “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord our God, ‘when I will send a famine on the land—not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord.’”
There are approximately four million people in our Valley from Bakersfield to Merced, allowing us the unique opportunity to call the saints in our region and surrounding areas to exalt the Word of God together, thus equipping them to spread a passion for God’s Word and His glory.
In these deceitful and compromising times, we resolve to proclaim God's Word in our Valley and beyond to enable His people to stand for truth in a changing culture.
