Bringing Certified Biblical Counseling Training to the Central Valley
Central Valley Biblical Counseling, the training ministry of Grace Church of the Valley, is excited to announce our upcoming counseling and discipleship training conference! This event is hosted in conjunction with One-Eighty Ministries, a nationally known, ACBC certified training organization under the leadership of Dr. Stuart Scott. This year's training format will involve one day of teaching and preaching from selected keynote speakers, worship through music, fellowship meals, and a choice of breakout sessions tailored to specific, practical topics covering both fundamental and advanced areas of counseling and discipleship.
THIS YEAR’S THEME
Discernment In Discipleship
We will be addressing questions like: What is the difference between genuine and artificial change? How should we discern between true and false professions of faith? What are primary and secondary issues in the counseling room? In addition, we will be considering questions of discernment that relate to parenting: What is godly versus ungodly discipline? What is the difference between commandments and preferences when it comes to parenting? How do we avoid raising children who are "religious" but not believers?
KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
